[00:12.88] We don't worry about having to surgically go in and remove those roots, causing damage to the nerve or other structures.

[00:14.88] The procedure is just much more straightforward, and complications are less, and the outcomes are better.

[00:17.6] When it comes to many of the things that people associate as negatives with wisdom teeth removal, such as numb lips or a numb tongue,

[00:19.92] those problems are lessened because there aren't any roots on the teeth.

[00:21.52] They're just simpler to remove.

[00:22.96] The recovery is easier, there are fewer post-op complications, so I recommend wisdom tooth removal during the teenage years because it's just simpler.
